SUSTAINABLE ART

This workshop introduced students to sustainable art as a tool for reflection and activism.

Through key ideas such as material reuse, critical thinking, and community-focused creation, participants explored how artistic practices like Land Art and punk DIY culture challenge consumerism and promote ecological awareness. As part of this hands-on approach, students also learned to make homemade paper using recycled cut-outs from their collage process, reinforcing the value of self-creation and the circular use of basic materials.

The session culminated in each student creating their own reclaiming collage, expressing personal visions of a more just and sustainable future. These works were later compiled into a collective fanzine, embodying the spirit of self-managed, low-impact, and socially engaged art.
